WWE Goes Mobile for April 1st WrestleMania 28 Live Stream

michael11 years ago02 mins

As MMW reported last month, sports entertainment juggernaut World Wrestling Entertainment has brilliantly capitalized on social media and mobile marketing ahead of the April 1st extravaganza known as WrestleMania 28.

This year, however, for the first time in WWE history, the year’s biggest annual pay-per-view event will be a truly mobile experience.

The “Superbowl of Professional Wrestling” is soon upon us – Wrestlemania 28! It takes place on April 1st and WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) has announced that the biggest and most star-studded show of its action-packed calendar will be streaming exclusively on iPhone and iPad!

“Things have become a lot more high-tech since the 80s and the days of Hulk Hogan vs Ultimate Warrior are mere memories,” reports the Gadget Helpline Blog. “Today’s superstars of wrestling cross over into the digital domain to continue their feuds and storylines and social-savvy superstars The Rock and John Cena will go head-to-head on the big night for WrestleMania which happens just once a year.”
