WWDC 2015: Did You Get Your Ticket?

WWDC 2015 Did You Get Your TicketAs MMW reported Thursday, Apple has announced that it will hold its 26th annual WWDC June 8 through June 12 at San Francisco’s Moscone West, “with more sessions than ever before streamed to developers.”

This year’s convention, like last year’s, will be all about the future of iOS and OS X.

Developers were invited to apply for tickets via the WWDC website through Friday. And by Saturday morning, Apple was contacting applicants with news of whether or not they had won the ticket lottery.

“Tickets will be issued to attendees through a random selection process, and developers will know the status of their application by Monday, April 20 at 5 p.m. PDT,” Apple says.

In other words, if you applied for a $1,599 ticket, you’ll know by this evening whether or not you’ll be going to WWDC.
