Many of the world’s most prominent CEOs are packing their bags for Bacelona. On Thursday, the GSMA announced several new speakers in the keynote program at next month’s 2014 GSMA Mobile World Congress.
The headliner, however, is Founder, Chairman and CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg.
Although countless professionals across the marketing and advertising space will be looking to Zuckerberg for clues related to the future of mobile advertising on Facebook, it doesn’t appear that some of the industry’s most burning questions will be answered.
In his session, Zuckerberg and tech journalist David Kirkpatrick will explore the importance of “extending the benefits of ubiquitous Internet access to the unconnected world.”
In this regard, Zuckerberg appears to be taking a page straight out of the Bill Gates playbook. The Facebook chief is coming to Barcelona to discuss the good his company and others can do for the betterment of the world.
Fortunately for those still interested in checking out the keynote, you don’t need to be in the live audience in the Conference Village in Fira Gran Via. The Mobile World Live keynotes will be streamed live to hundreds of thousands of viewers globally via the Mobile World Live portal.
