Apple is once again taking center stage in the tech rumor world as the iDevice maker rapidly approaches the start of next month’s annual WWDC.
The rumor mill heated up again Tuesday as Apple confirmed that the 2012 Worldwide Developers Conference will kick off at 10 a.m. PST on Monday, June 11.
Apple CEO Tim Cook will lead the keynote presentation at that time.
Although the WWDC event agenda was partially published today, key details remain conspicuously absent. For example, all event sessions and seminars pertaining to the anticipated iOS update haven’t been revealed.
Next month, Apple is widely expected to unveil iOS 6.
While at least one new or refreshed Apple product will likely be revealed at the June conference, most industry analysts and Apple watchers don’t believe that the 6th generation iPhone will be among the refreshed products unveiled.
