The relevant video advertising technology specialists at YuMe have announced the expansion of YuMe into Europe with the launch of the aptly named “YuMe Europe.”
Helping with the growth and transition into new territory will be the tools and resources that come from YuMe’s acquisition this week of Appealing Media, a mobile video advertising company with such hefty clients as ESPN, IPC Media, Bauer Media, and Universal McCann.
Appealing Media already has a compelling platform and established presence in the United Kingdom, something the team at YuMe is particularly excited about.
But nothing appears to excite YuMe and its executives as much as the future potential of the mobile video market.
“As smartphone and tablet adoption takes off, the mobile video market will grow considerably both in complexity and reach. And the advertising on these platforms needs to be relevant and smart, especially for premium brands,” says Michael Mathieu, CEO of YuMe. “We are excited to open our first office in the UK and welcome the executive team of Appealing Media to YuMe.”
