Verizon Wireless Flips Switch on More 4G LTE Network Spots

Verizon Wireless subscribers in Wheeling West Virginia and St. Clairsville, Ohio will have something extra to be thankful for next week on Thanksgiving.

Verizon Wireless announced Thursday that its 4G LTE network is coming to the above locations… today.

Verizon Wireless customers in the area will be able to experience the speed and capabilities offered by the innovative solutions available on its 4G LTE network when the company introduces the service tomorrow.

According to the information announced this morning, the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network now offers more 4G LTE coverage than all other competitors’ networks combined.

The network is currently available to more than 250 million people throughout the United States.

“Our 4G LTE network provides customers across the country with the best wireless experience possible, enabling them to stay in touch like never before – uploading, downloading and connecting online with speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G,” said Mark Frazier, a regional executive with Verizon Wireless. “We were the first to bring 4G LTE to West Virginia and remain the only wireless carrier to do so in major West Virginia cities including Wheeling, Charleston and Huntington. As we continue to expand and enhance our 4G LTE network, our customers will be able to see, firsthand, the innovations that are being brought to market through 4G LTE technology.”
