USA Today Sets Tablet Industry on ‘Fire’ with New App

On Wednesday, the mobile news industry was buzzing on the heels of USA Today’s announcement that its hugely popular mobile app has found its way to the red-hot Amazon Kindle Fire.

The multi-platform news and information company has officially released its app for Amazon’s new tablet with Volkswagen as the launch partner.

According to the venerable news titan, the USA Today App for Kindle Fire features a custom look and design specifically for the tablet with the same content structure and tone readers recognize.

The app provides eye catching photos while delivering the latest award-winning USA Today news in a convenient interactive package designed to take advantage of Kindle Fire’s seven inch color touch screen.
