Start with acquiring your customers through mobile ads and mobile-friendly messages. Then, re-engage with users who have used your app — or shopped on mobile with you before — through push notifications. Lastly, make sure that you have a streamlined mobile shopping and checkout process so customers do not get lost in the shuffle.

How else can you make the most of mobile?

Make sure your content is personalized and perfectly timed. You want your content to feel personal to the user to make sure it addresses your customer’s needs and desires. Also, consider that customer’s day. Are they at work at three in the afternoon and not likely to check their personal email? Pick a time that the largest swath of your customer base is likely to see the email before it is buried by other emails.
