It seems everyone and everything is joining Instagram, the wildly popular Facebook-owned photo and video sharing platform.
Today, the House House became the latest high-profile entity to launch an Instagram profile.
The Obama Administration is now using this hot digital property to provide presidential updates to the nation and world.
The first image shared on the page is of Marine One’s recent departure. The corresponding caption shared on Twitter reads: “A new way to see unfiltered moments at the White House.”
The White House’s arrival on Instagram isn’t a surprise given that the Obama Administration already has a presence on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and, most recently, Vine.
Despite having launched the page just hours ago, as of this writing, the White House has already amassed 4,668 followers on Instagram.
