The Humane Society of the United States Goes MobileThis week, GIV Mobile revealed it is joining efforts to combat animal cruelty with The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).

As the nation’s largest animal protection organization, the Humane Society could stand to see its message gain considerable traction as a result of this initiative.

According to details shared with MMW, GIV Mobile subscribers can donate 8 percent of their monthly plan amount to The HSUS to help provide direct care to over 100,000 animals every year through sanctuaries, veterinary programs, emergency shelters and rescues.

“This exciting partnership with GIV Mobile will allow animal lovers nationwide to easily contribute to our important work protecting animals from cruelty,” says Sarah Comis, Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Relations for The HSUS. “Our work on issues ranging from puppy mills to farm animals to wildlife impacts every community in the country, and the help of generous companies like GIV Mobile expands our reach.”

For the month of February, The HSUS will be recognized as GIV Mobile’s charity of the month.
