After three months of “nonstop mentor meetings, pitch practicing and business strategizing,” ten startup companies will finally present their ideas at the 2016 Sprint Mobile Accelerator Program Demo Day.
That day just happens to be today — on Tuesday, May 24th. And it’s all set to take place at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City.
The program began on Feb. 21 when 10 mobile technology startups from across the country and as far away as France and India made their home in the Crossroads Arts District of Kansas City, Sprint’s announcement explains.
These startups received advice from other entrepreneurs, investors and mentors from Sprint and Techstars to help guide them through the immersive program.
“I am an entrepreneur myself and I know firsthand how hard you have to work to make your dream a reality,” said Marcelo Claure, Sprint president and CEO. “I am very proud of what these 10 startups have accomplished and that they are part of the Sprint Accelerator Program powered by Techstars family. These companies have used creativity, innovation and forward thinking to provide mobile solutions.”
The goal of the Sprint Accelerator companies is to create and provide solutions that incorporate hardware, software platforms and mobile applications.
