Teradata Corp., a big data analytics and marketing applications company, says that in December it rather quietly acquired Appoxee, a mobile marketing Software-as-a-Service provider.
Going under the radar until recent days, the company says its purchase of Appoxee and its addition to the Teradata Integrated Marketing Cloud complements Teradata’s strategy to “provide industry-leading marketing solutions that help data-driven businesses deliver more individualized information and communications to their customers, based on the type of brand engagement experience those customers want and expect.”
Financial terms of the acquisition, which reportedly closed on December 17, 2014, are not being disclosed.
“Appoxee’s solutions will be integrated into the Teradata Integrated Marketing Cloud beginning immediately, and quickly integrated with Teradata Digital Marketing Center,” the company says.
