Mobile ad network Tapjoy has just published a new report highlighting the mobile habits of holiday travelers.
And the findings show that travelers are now more mobile than ever.
“Mobile devices are an integral part of the consumer travel experience,” says Shikha Kaiwar, Northwest Media Planner for Tapjoy. “Whether looking for a deal or booking a trip, travelers are commanding 20% of smartphone and tablet Internet traffic, and that statistic will grow as they plan out their trips for the holiday season.”
According to details dished in the new report, more than half of consumers search for travel deals and promotions on their mobile device. 35% even research travel plans on their mobile device.
