Capping off a full day of announcements, T-Mobile is making headlines today for reasons beyond its long-awaited addition of the iPhone to its growing network.
T-Mobile on Tuesday became the first U.S. carrier to confirm a launch date for coverage of the new Samsung flagship smartphone.
T-Mobile revealed this morning that the Galaxy S 4 will be available on its network starting May 1.
As of this writing, no other US carriers have announced specific launch dates for the S4.
T-Mobile did not, however, reveal any pricing information. It is expected that the carrier will follow a course of action similar to that which was unveiled today for Apple’s iPhone 5.
Beginning April 12th, T-Mobile will sell the iPhone 5 for a $99 down payment with $20 monthly payments for the next twenty months.
