South by Southwest (SXSW), a robust schedule of film, interactive, and music festivals and conferences that take place early each year in mid-March in Austin, Texas, is growing exponentially to meet demand.
For the mobile-minded audience, one of the major attractions on tap for SXSW 2015 is “Mobile Saturday,” which is dedicated to giving attendees a chance to hear the latest on mobile innovation and what’s working in the market today. The third annual Mobile Saturday is set for March 14 at the Downtown Austin Radisson, “a venue three times the size as years prior” due to demand, according to a provided statement.
Urban Airship has assembled a stellar cast of speakers and presenters for the occasion.
The company will moderate five panel discussions throughout the day featuring representatives from 451 Research, ABC News, AKQA, Breaking News (NBC), Forrester Research, Gimbal, HomeAway, Location Based Marketing Association, R/GA, Redbox, RetailMeNot, Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Visa, Walmart and The Wendy’s Company.
“Our work with today’s leading mobile innovators puts us in a unique position to spark world-class debate that can help guide everyone through this new era of marketing and connect with consumers in more relevant and authentic ways,” said Urban Airship CEO and President Brett Caine. “SXSW Interactive is the perfect place for this exchange of ideas, focusing not only on what’s driving success today but on new developments shaping tomorrow’s opportunities.”
Interested attendees can register to receive Mobile Saturday updates and be among the first to receive video recaps following the event, or follow @MobileSaturday on Twitter for live event updates. The full agenda for Mobile Saturday is available at the event website here.
