Ahead of SXSW 2015, there was ample hype surrounding the debut of a new documentary about the life of Steve Jobs.
The documentary in question is the work of Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney.
But after its debut at the celebrated entertainment and cultural festival in Austin, Texas, not everyone is thrilled with how the late Apple visionary was portrayed, including Apple’s head of software and services, Eddy Cue.
“Very disappointed in SJ:Man in the Machine,” Cue tweeted Monday. “An inaccurate and mean-spirited view of my friend. It’s not a reflection of the Steve I knew.”
“Best portrayal is about to be released – Becoming Steve Jobs (book). Well done and first to get it right,” Cue added.
The documentary is scheduled for release March 24th.
