VRJournal confirmed this week that Samsung and Warner Bros. have confirmed big plans for virtual reality in their forthcoming push for next month’s eagerly anticipated release of Suicide Squad.
The major collaboration, we’re told, will bring Suicide Squad to life “through exclusive virtual reality content and activations leading up to the release of the film August 5.”
So what will the virtual reality-focused efforts include?
“As we observed last week at San Diego Comic-Con, VR content from the film wowed those in attendance. And there’s more on the way. The anticipated content, we’re told, is designed to ‘transport fans into the world of Suicide Squad, experiencing what it’s like being a member of the Squad and watching their favorite characters,'” VRJournal reports.
For those eager to check it out, the content will be available on August 5 on Samsung VR.
