Source: Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Coming in April

Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy S4 smartphone – codenamed “Altius” – will be publicly unveiled within weeks.

Based on a string of reports coming from knowledgeable sources today, all signs point to a March media event where the eagerly anticipated device will be formally introduced.

The actual mass-market product launch, however, likely won’t take place until April.

Although multiple sources point to the April launch, the sources conflict on where Samsung will hold its media event to raise the curtain on “Altius.”

One source is confident in a U.S. based media event while others have heard London and even South Korea.

Samsung will likely deliver the phone in two color options: white and black. There will be a removable 2600mAh battery with a wireless charging kit sold separately.

According to Droid Life, other anticipated but unconfirmed specs include a 4.99″ FHD Super AMOLED display, Exynos 5 Octa processor, Mali-T658 GPU, 2GB RAM, 13MP camera, and Android 4.2.1.
