On Friday, the legal war between Apple and Samsung will resume in court. And the heavyweights from Apple might be on hand for the showdown.
Scott Forstall, the senior vice president of iOS Software at Apple, will be called to the stand. He is just the most recent high-profile executive from Apple to wind up in the hot seat. Just this past Tuesday, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Phil Schiller was called to testify.
It is believed that Schiller will once again take the stand Friday as the trial picks up where it left off yesterday.
From PC Mag:
The landmark patent case between Apple and Samsung topped tech headlines on Tuesday as both sides addressed the jury for the first time. Apple argued that its “magical” designs deserve protection while Samsung countered that it is also an innovator.
Legal documents filed in court this week show an ever-expanding list of Apple employees expected to take the stand as witnesses as the trial progresses. They include: Justin Denison, Wookyun Kho, Peter Bressler, Susan Kare, and Ravin Balakrishnan.
