Angry Birds fans have fewer than 24 hours to wait before Rovio drops the next installment of its hugely popular mobile game.

Rovio confirms that Angry Birds Friends will launch in the iOS App Store and Android’s Google Play Store on Thursday, May 2nd.

Angry Birds Friends lets users compete with friends to get the highest scores and achievements.

“Angry Birds Friends provides users with the classic Angry Birds experience, while combining the addictive game with a series of social features that integrate with Facebook,” says Joe White of AppAdvice.

“In the app, users can challenge friends via the social network, participate in weekly tournaments, and send and receive rewards,” White says.

So… will you download Angry Birds Friends when the game lands on Thursday?
