On Tuesday, Hipcricket – a mobile marketing and advertising company owned by Augme Technologies – announced that it will continue to do its part to keep one of radio’s most popular personalities mobile.
Delilah, the most-listened-to-woman on radio in the U.S., has doubled her mobile VIP club in the last year and, as a result, renewed her contract with long-time partner Hipcricket, according to details issued in a press release earlier today.
Delilah continues to use Hipcricket’s platform to engage with fans and provide mobile sponsorship opportunities to national brands including Keri Lotion, AT&T, Chase Bank, Nutro Cat Care, Marzetti Caramel Dips and Honey Baked Ham.
Delilah’s hugely popular evening radio broadcasts, which are syndicated to approximately 200 radio stations, reach nearly nine million listeners every week.
Hipcricket and Delilah have created fresh new opportunities to engage with female listeners in a way that is relevant and meaningful, including through Delilah’s Mobile VIP Listener Club.
“For more than 25 years, female radio listeners have trusted Delilah to provide honest counsel and product recommendations, and this is reflected in the success of the mobile campaigns we conduct on behalf of brands like Keri Lotion,” commented Ivan Braiker, President of Hipcricket. “Everyone is talking about new ways to reach females – moms in particular. The combination of mobile and radio is extremely powerful for interacting with targeted, loyal audiences.”
