At this rate, SMS might as well be the abbreviation for “so much success.” Just ask the folks at Ritzy’s, a popular restaurant in Owensboro, Kentucky.
The eatery has had recent success utilizing a mobile text message marketing campaign and those behind it are sharing the good news.
Since July, 136 Loyalty Rewards have been earned by loyal Ritzy’s customers, with a total of 55 customers coming in to redeem their offer – an outstanding 40.44 percent redemption rate.
The restaurant works with ImURVIP.com to send text messages, or “broadcasts,” to their customer database. This database is gathered through the Loyalty Rewards Kiosk, a (touch screen tablet device).
“Everywhere you go, if you see 20 people, 15 of them have a cell phone,” says Ritzy’s owner Mike Courtney. “[A loyalty program] needs to be worth [the customers’] while. You need to give them what they deserve as your customer.”
