PlaceIQ said this week that their CEO Duncan McCall has been appointed to the Mobile Marketing Association’s (MMA) North American Board of Directors.
McCall, his company reminded us in a formal announcement yesterday, joins an “exclusive group of members” on the North American Board of Directors — leaders in marketing across retail, CPG, finance, technology and more.
So why did the MMA call on McCall? His stellar background in location, data and advertising certainly helped influence the decision.
“Mobile and location intelligence are the conduits for empowering marketing,” McCall said in a news release Tuesday. “I am honored to join the MMA because I believe it is a prestigious organization that shares that belief. The MMA is an organization that provides a unique venue for industry collaboration from those entrenched in delivering new understandings about consumers through the lens of location. The end product of such a collaboration is innovation for all marketers.”
