If you’re hungry and you have a mobile phone, you’re in luck. Pizza giant Papa John’s is launching a mobile marketing campaign that will give customers the chance to win a year’s supply of pizza.
That certainly got my attention.
At the moment, Papa John’s is “capturing data” not only for the sake of this current promotion but also for use in future mobile marketing promotions. The campaign encourages customers to ‘Txt the Papa’ by sending PAPA to 86100.
Creative agency Crossing O’Sullivan designed the promotion, which is powered by mobile marketing solutions provider Sponge. As it stands, one winner will be drawn every day for nine weeks using Sponge’s random draw engine technology.
Papa John’s director of marketing Simon Wallis says: “Implementing the ‘Txt the Papa’ campaign has given us the opportunity to interact with our customers in a simple and engaging way. It also allows us to develop our database for ongoing mobile communications.”
