PacketZoom’s Mobile Expresslane Eliminates Mobile Disconnections

This week, PacketZoom released its case study with Sephora, a leader in global beauty retail, on the integration of PacketZoom Mobile Expresslane, improving mobile engagement and sales for Sephora’s international customers.

“Sephora’s newly launched mobile shopping app for South-East Asia was experiencing latency issues, a common problem for apps on cellular and wifi networks in any region,” a provided release explains.

PacketZoom’s SDK was integrated in less than an hour and “immediately improved mobile performance across the app.”

“As pioneer in the use of mobile in beauty we always look for new technologies to enhance our mobile app and benefit our customers,” says Lorenzo Peracchione, Regional Director of Mobile Commerce at Sephora Digital SEA. “PacketZoom’s simple integration showed immediate improvement in speed up and continuity, allowing our mobile app users to enjoy a smooth experience without interruptions.”

Sephora saw an immediate ROI and significant boost in user engagement, including a 10  percent increase in image views. Sephora’s app immediately ran two times faster across 3G, LTE and WiFi networks, and 63 percent of sessions with network-driven disconnections were rescued.

“PacketZoom’s in-app networking technology allows us to improve our app speed, reduce disconnects and offer our customers the optimized user experience they deserve and expect,” added Peracchione.
