With February serving as Black History Month, the folks at Colgate-Palmolive have partnered with the Children’s Health Fund to encourage consumers and their families to “help make a difference by sharing a smile.”
In short, the organizations are launching a digital campaign to honor and celebrate Black History Month.
Colgate’s Honor Your Past, Treasure Your Healthonline campaign will encourage supporters to post photos of their smiles via social media using the hashtag #StartWithASmileas a means to raise funds to help children in need of health services throughout the U.S.
Between now and March 1, 2015, Colgate-Palmolive will donate one dollar to the Children’s Health Fund for each picture that is shared on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Google+ with #StartWithASmile.
“At Colgate, we’re committed to helping our consumers achieve not only healthy smiles, but healthy lives,” said Carla Kelly, General Manager of U.S. Multicultural Marketing for Colgate-Palmolive. “This partnership with Children’s Health Fund allows us to fulfill this commitment while treasuring our children and making the connection of celebrating the future and honoring the past.”
