North American Bancard CEO Marc Gardner Receives Top Industry HonorOn Thursday, the team at North American Bancard – a leading electronic payment solutions company – had ample reason for celebration.

Company founder and CEO Marc Gardner was just named the silver winner in the Executive of the Year category of the 2013 International Best in Biz Awards.

The awards program is a prestigious independent business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts.

With a mission to level the playing field for businesses of all sizes in regard to their ability to accept and process payments and gain access to critical business intelligence at the point of sale, Marc drove the evolution of NABs product and service offerings, delivering the industry’s most aggressive rates and most inclusive programs for merchants of all sizes.

With the founding of NAB subsidiary, PayAnywhere, in 2011, Marc helped to “usher in the mobile revolution,” today’s announcement reads.

“It is an honor to have been named a winner in the Executive of the Year category of the 2013 International Best in Biz Awards,” Gardner said after learning of his award. “It’s truly been a team effort to develop North American Bancard over the past 20-years as the industry’s most innovative merchant payment provider, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. As the mobile economy continues to gain steam and challenges the systems and services that payment providers offer, NAB has enormous opportunity to lead the evolution of our industry, driving incredible positive changes for the entire payment ecosystem. I am personally thrilled with this opportunity for continued growth and change and look forward to what the next 20-years will bring.”
