It’s been a busy week for the Mobile Marketing Association.
In addition to the MMA Forum New York getting underway and the MMA’s freshly announced formation of a new mobile analytics committee, the organization has also rolled out a new industry job board focused on – you guessed it – the mobile marketing industry.
The MMA hopes the new job board will help pair talent with employers by providing recruiters with a “critical vehicle” for hiring talent in the mobile marketing industry.
Developed in partnership with SmartBrief, a leading publisher of targeted business news and information, the MMA SmartBrief Job Board will be delivered each weekday morning to more than 13,000 mobile marketing professionals across North America, 60% of whom are senior executives.
The MMA has long acknowledged that recruiting and developing talent is a challenge in the competitive mobile marketing industry, which is estimated to grow significantly in the next five years.
“As the leading trade association for mobile marketing, we believe it is essential to provide this critical job listings service not only to MMA members but to the broader mobile marketing industry as well,” says Greg Stuart, Global CEO, MMA. “We are confident that this will become an integral resource for talent acquisition and development across the ecosystem.”
The MMA says it will offer promotional rates for the job board for a limited time only.
“With the growth projected for the mobile marketing industry, I can think of no better place to launch a job board,” says Rick Stamberger, President & CEO of SmartBrief, Inc. “We’re proud to partner with the MMA on this critical industry recruiting tool adding to SmartBrief’s already established group of vertical job listings services.”
