Mozido Announces Acquisition of PagoVision for Improved Financial Services

On Monday morning, MMW was privy to the official announcement that Mozido is officially acquiring PagoVision.

Mozido – a cloud-based, white label integrated platform of mobile payments, commerce and marketing – has high hopes for PagoVision, a leading merchant network providing check cashing and payment services for the “unbanked and underbanked.”

According to details made available today, Mozido will now gain access to PagoVision’s merchant network of more than 1,500 independent retailers. Conversely, PagoVision merchants can now expand their product offerings to include international and domestic remittances, international and domestic mobile minutes top-up, bill pay, stored value card, remote deposit capture. etc.

Mitch Dillard, co-founder of PagoVision, will remain in charge of the subsidiary’s operation.
