There’s no TGIF in the land of iOS today.
For the second time in four days, Apple’s iMessage and FaceTime went down today before all systems were working normally again by early afternoon.
Earlier this week on Tuesday, outages were first reported in Apple’s iMessage and FaceTime services.
On Friday, Apple’s system Status page confirmed the repeat outage.
Analogous to Tuesday’s experience, only iMessage and FaceTime were impacted by the brief outage this morning. The App Store and all other Apple services continued to functional normally throughout the outage.
While we don’t know what keeps triggering the outages, Apple is usually able to repair the problem within two hours or less.
