The MMA is growing in membership diversity like never before.
Last week, mobile media company Infocomm became the first business in Oman to be admitted as a member of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA).
The MMA, which admittedly works to promote, educate, measure, guide and protect the mobile marketing industry worldwide, boasts a wide range of members, from agencies and advertisers, to device manufacturers and mobile operators.
“It’s a pleasure to welcome Infocomm to the Mobile Marketing Association,” said Paul Berney, MMA CMO and Managing Director for EMEA.
“As the mobile device continues to become increasingly important to the way in which consumers interact with the brands and organizations around them, the need to ensure quality and standards across the mobile marketing industry is ever more important. Infocomm’s work is exemplary and we looking forward to them taking an active role and making a valuable contribution to the Association,” he added.
Infocomm managing director Karim Rahemtulla (pictured on right) was equally excited about the MMA membership.
“The entire Infocomm team is delighted to have been accepted into the Mobile Marketing Association,” Rahemtulla says. “It’s an extremely prestigious organization and is without parallel a setter of standards in our business – it’s extremely action orientated. We’re proud to be the first from Oman and one of the few in the Middle East.”
