Fandango announced Tuesday that it has reached a new company milestone.
As it turns out, Fandango delivered its best-ever May numbers for both traffic and ticket sales in the organization’s 12-year history.
The company reported a 47 % surge in year-over-year ticket sales, a 29% percent year-over-year increase in monthly visitors (totaling 34 million in May 2012, the highest monthly unique visitors in company history), and its top monthly mobile percentage (28%) of total tickets sold.
In other words, during May, more than one in four Fandango regulars checked out the site via their mobile device.
