Anticipation is building ahead of Samsung’s launch of the Galaxy S IV, which may come as early as April.
On Friday, South Korea’s rumor mill cranked out the latest tidbit of purportedly top secret information from the tech giant. According to sources in the know, Samsung is actively preparing for the Galaxy S IV to debut before the end of April.
As MMW reported earlier this week, Samsung has high hopes for its smartphones this coming year. The Korean electronics giant is aiming to ship 510 million phones in 2013. That obliterates the 420 million devices it is projected to have shipped in 2012.
“Multiple Korean sources are saying that the new phone [Galaxy S IV] will land in April,” SlashGear‘s Craig Lloyd, wrote today, adding that the accompanying S Pen feature “hints that Samsung is allegedly looking to bring some of the best features of their Note series to the flagship Galaxy S IV…”
