The 2013 All Star Hoops Festival takes place this Friday. And the event will have no shortage of support from one of the fastest growing titans in mobile payments.

“PayAnywhere is excited to take part in the 2013 All Star Hoops Festival Friday, August 23rd at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, MI.,” the mobile payments company recently announced.

The annual event, hosted by former Detroit Piston player and current Pistons President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars, provides a dynamic networking opportunity for Michigan business leaders and elite professional athletes to work together with the goal of making a positive impact on Detroit’s youth.

As an event sponsor, PayAnywhere will be there to collect payments for the auction items as well as separate donations throughout the night.

Event proceeds benefit Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan, Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation and Detroit PAL.
