Mobile Marketing Giant Hipcricket Sees Huge Campaign Growth

Hipcricket – the mobile marketing and advertising subsidiary of Augme Technologies – said Monday that it has reached a new milestone. The company has now surpassed the 200,000 mark for mobile marketing and mobile advertising campaigns.

By completing more than 27,000 campaigns in the quarter ended May 31, 2012, Hipcricket says, the organization enjoyed a 52 percent increase in campaigns completed when compared with the previous quarter ended February 29, 2012.

Among the 27,000 campaigns completed during the company’s first fiscal quarter, a leading real estate company boosted its campaign count quarter over quarter by more than 80 percent.

Another stunning example of success came from a non-profit outfit that upped its count by more than 70 percent. Meanwhile, a digital software company also managed a 61 percent increase and a top broadcaster completed over 45 percent more campaigns.

“These statistics illustrate the success our clients are having with their mobile programs and indicate their interest in developing more campaigns for refined targeting,” said Paul Arena, Chief Executive Officer of Hipcricket and Augme. “We witnessed a tremendous amount of progress along the adoption curve at our recent Customer Summit in New York, where many of our largest customers gathered to share their knowledge and experiences involving mobile marketing campaigns.”
