Mobile Marketing Association Demystifies Location Data in Webinar November 23Location data is driving more and more marketing decisions and campaigns.

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) has planned “a deeper dive” into its recent white paper entitled “Demystifying Location Data Accuracy.”

A webinar set for Monday, November 23 from 1 to 2 p.m. (CST) will assemble the leading industry experts (members of the MMA’s Location Data Accuracy Working Group) to define and drive transparency and greater data quality.

“It’s a priority for marketers, because, at its simplest, accurate location data is proven to increase relevance to consumers, leading to improved ad performance,” noted the MMA.

Webinar panelists will discuss, among other things:

  • The opportunity greater quality and transparency creates for marketers
  • Location Data basics and how data is being used
  • Technical summary on data collection, data passed, services, and flow
  • Factors that impact accuracy and solutions
  • Future prospects

“Location data can enhance the entire marketing cycle –from developing an understanding of who consumers are, to understanding their context at the moment the message is displayed, and then measuring the impact of marketing programs, all key to marketing success,” according to the MMA.

Moderating the webinar will be Leo Scullin, Head of Industry Initiatives at the Mobile Marketing Association. Scheduled speakers include Vikas Gupta, Director of Marketing at Factual; Brett Kohn, VP of Marketing at Thinknear; Ran Ben-Yair, CEO of Ubimo; and Michael Lieberman, COO at tenthavenue.
