Austin-based mobile CRM and engagement provider 3Seventy has announced a $2M expansion capital investment led by Mark Jennings, Founder and Managing Partner of Generation Partners.
3Seventy bills itself as a leading provider of SaaS-based mobile Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, which includes an award-winning mobile engagement platform. Users can design, deploy and analyze mobile engagement using SMS/MMS, QR Codes, mobile Websites and app development, among other things, as well as engage customers with real-time product info, coupons, sweepstakes, reward programs and surveys.
The company already boasts an impressive roster of clients, including AMF Bowling Centers, Hewlett-Packard, Playtex Sport, AT&T, Nestle, Sony Music, Gamestop, DMX and Young America. The company says it plans to use the $2M investment to expand its staff and release new products, including hiring 30-40 new positions over the next twelve months at both its Austin-based headquarters and its offices in Europe. According to the press release, the team is preparing for a new product launch in October.
“We are excited to announce this funding and are thrilled with this year’s lineup of new products and partners. It’s a very exciting time for the company and our employees and customers. We are delighted to have Mark join our board and look forward to tapping his extensive expertise to help execute our aggressive growth plans,” said Carrie Chitsey, Founder and CEO of 3Seventy.
