Mobile Engagement Platform Rakes in Major Money from Heavy Hitting Firms

Mobile Engagement Platform Rakes in Major Money from Heavy Hitting FirmsMMW was privy to the news yesterday from WizRocket, Inc. — a real-time analytics and mobile engagement platform — that the company has raised an impressive $8 million in new funding from Sequoia Capital India and Accel Partners.

WizRocket plans to use the funding to grow the industry’s first prescriptive engagement platform and a ‘naked API’ that offers developers “unprecedented, code-level access to customizing user experiences.”

The platform enables developers to build one mobile app that creates multiple dynamic experiences for users and supports brands with smart campaigns right out of the box. In addition to this advanced functionality, WizRocket has the industry’s largest free messaging tier.

“As the mobile app market grows exponentially, marketers and developers need the next generation of tools,” said Chief Marketing Officer of WizRocket, Malcolm Friedberg. “By building intelligence into the platform, WizRocket offers marketers and developers a powerful platform to understand and customize the user experience. We are thrilled to be working with the Sequoia and Accel teams to bring their considerable expertise to support WizRocket’s growth.”
