Scores of market watchers and number-crunchers predict that anywhere from 600,000 to 1 million new MacBook Airs could be sold during the holiday shopping quarter.
The new $999 11-inch MacBook Air – released just one week ago – is already experiencing strained shipping times as a result of the powerful initial wave of interest in Apple’s latest offering.
The trend of mobile gadgets as hot holiday gifts has only strengthened in recent years, even despite the stark economic downturn of the last 24 months.
And now appears the trend has only just begun in full.
