This week, LSN Mobile announced the appointment of Louis K. Gump to the position of president and chief executive officer of the company.
Gaining no shortage of media exposure in response to the installation, Gump comes to LSN as an esteemed veteran of mobile media, technology and business development experience. He has been an active member of the Mobile Marketing Association board, having held positions as global chairman and global treasurer.
Gump was most recently global vice president of mobile at CNN. He now will lead the overall strategic direction of LSN Mobile, including day-to-day operations and team development.
Current CEO and co-founder Lee Durham will remain as executive chairman and will transition to lead business development for the company.
“LSN Mobile has experienced a tremendous amount of growth over the last few years and is now poised to deepen its footprint within the local media market,” said Durham this week. “Bringing Louis on board expands our executive management team and enables us to take the company through its next phase of growth. I am confident that Louis’ passion and unparalleled track record of building mobile strategies for media companies makes him the right leader for LSN Mobile at this time of enormous opportunity for the company.”
