Microsoft Ventures Stretches Its Neck Out for SkyGiraffeSkyGiraffe, a new venture that provides a platform to extend on-premise enterprise systems directly to mobile devices, is getting some financial support from a force like no other in the tech space – Microsoft.

SkyGiraffe announced today that it has received a strategic investment from Microsoft Ventures.

This marks the first fund announcement from Microsoft Ventures, and will enable SkyGiraffe to further its mission of empowering organizations to efficiently provide enterprise-grade mobile apps to their workforce.

“We provide the tools that make it exceptionally easy for businesses to perform at their best, anywhere and at any time,” stated Boaz Hecht, Co-Founder and CEO of SkyGiraffe. “We are thrilled to work closely with the team at Microsoft Ventures to bring our services to customers around the world.”

Given the increased usage of smartphones and tablets in the workforce, implementing operational mobile apps have become a strategic priority for enterprise companies.
