Made possible by a $1.5 million grant from the National Science Foundation’s Computer Systems Research program, a major research project involving mHealth is now underway. Researchers from Clemson University and Dartmouth College are behind what’s being called the Amulet project.

DailyBurn, an online health and fitness brand, is behind the first multiplatform prenatal yoga program. Called Beautiful Belly, it’s a standalone iPad app and yoga program specially designed to help expecting mothers stay on top of their health throughout their pregnancies.
