Research in Motion is eagerly gearing up for the release of its much-hyped and eagerly-awaited BlackBerry 10. And with just days remaining before the new smartphone arrives, Major League Baseball may be stepping up to the plate to support the forthcoming launch.
Last night, an unknown number of MLB.com users received promotional emails highlighting the BlackBerry 10. Why? Although no formal relationship between RIM and MLB has been confirmed regarding the BlackBerry 10, it certainly appears that a partnership of some sort exists.
As of this writing, the BlackBerry 10 launch event is still set for January 30th.
“In building BlackBerry 10,” says Thorsten Heins, President and CEO of Research In Motion, “we set out to create a truly unique mobile computing experience that constantly adapts to your needs. Our team has been working tirelessly to bring our customers innovative features combined with a best in class browser, a rich application ecosystem, and cutting-edge multimedia capabilities.”
