These days, Lady Gaga seems to turn all that she touches into gold. And a legendary name in photography, Polaroid, is hoping that touch will do for them exactly what it’s done for others.
Back in January, the eccentric superstar announced at CES that she would be teaming with Polaroid as part of her new Polaroid Grey Label line – a slate of new products that supposedly fit the Lady Gaga brand.
Well, this week, one of those products is finally turning up on retail shelves.
First up: The Polaroid Grey Label GL10 – a 15 oz. wireless printer that will run you about $169.99.
The GL10 uses Polaroid’s so-called Zink (zero ink) technology that creates instant 3×4-inch prints (naturally, with Polaroid’s classic border) protected by a smudge-proof, water-resistant coating. A rechargeable lithium ion battery powers the printer, with a capacity for about 35 prints per charge. You can print wirelessly over Bluetooth or via USB.
“This is a printer I take with me everywhere,” says Lady Gaga.
As of this week, the product is available both through the Polaroid website and, if you happen to be in New York City, at Bloomingdale’s flagship outlet on 59th Street.
“I’m so excited to be involved with this company,” Lady Gaga said upon introducing her new product line, which also includes the yet-to-be released picture-taking sunglasses. “I’m so privileged to be part of Polaroid. I love this company so much.”

The Lady sure knows what she likes and has an eye towards the up-and-coming trends. I totally admire her clear personal brand.
