Ultra-secretive Apple may be providing clues to the future iOS with a slate of new job postings on the official Apple website.
Judging by the requirements of the advertised job opening at the tech giant, Apple may roll out new APIs and frameworks with the next version of iOS.
“How would you like to develop the very first iPhone/iPad app that uses a new API/framework in the next version of iOS?” the job summary reads.
Posted just yesterday, the opening points to new and expanded features. While none of this is surprising for a major iOS upgrade, Apple is definitely being uncharacteristically candid in its search for talent.
The job posting, naturally, doesn’t provide any information on when iOS 7 may be released, but industry watchers believe Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference next June will provide the time and place.
