The iPhone 4S is has already shattered all previous iPhone sales records. Incredibly, during the new iPhone’s first week of availability (in the U.S., Canada, Australia, the U.K., France, Germany, Japan), more than four million units were sold.
And just one week ago, another 22 nations were added to the list of iPhone 4S-carrying markets – a list poised to grow even further next week.
Beginning Friday, Nov. 11, the iPhone 4s will arrive Hong Kong, South Korea and 13 additional countries (Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, El Salvador, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Malta, Montenegro, New Zealand, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania and South Korea.)
As of this writing, the iPhone 4S is available in 29 countries. Apple says the iPhone 4s will be for sale in 70 countries total before the end of 2011.
For residents of Hong Kong, South Korea and the other nations listed above, pre-orders begin this this Friday, Nov. 4th. However, Apple announced on its website today that pre-orders are not available in Albania, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malta, Montenegro and Panama.
During Apple’s earnings call earlier this month, CEO Tim Cook said he believes the current quarter will bring with it all-time record quarterly iPhone sales.
