On Wednesday, InMobi published its latest version of the iOS ads SDK.
The release comes shortly after Apple’s announcement that UDID deprecation will be completed by the beginning of May.
“The release of the new SDK 370 marks the completion of InMobi’s move away from UDID,” explains Daniel Gumble of Mobile Entertainment, “which was initiated in version 350, and represents ‘a step in the right direction’ for the industry, that will help protect end user privacy while still enabling advertisers to safely target users.”
UDID information will no longer be collected or used by the InMobi SDK, making it Apple policy compliant.
Interested users can now download the SDK from the InMobi download center, which can be accessed here.
