The team at Score, a company that aims to “mentor America’s small businesses,” has gathered statistics that report on how important mobile marketing is for small businesses in the U.S. today.
Specifically, marketing to the average consumer’s mobile device is critically important due to the growing dependence upon mobile devices that consumers continue to demonstrate.
Based on the data presented visually in the infographic, consumers use their smartphones “to make buying decisions at every step of the purchasing process.” For example:
- 50% use it on the way to the store
- 60% use their smartphone in the store
- 39% of walkouts are influenced by smartphones
