Infographic: Television’s Top Mobile Social Forces of 2012

From professional wrestling to reality TV programming, some of the biggest players in social media emerged this year through the very traditional medium of television.

This week, the people at AdAge are continuing to explore just how “social” television was in 2012. Along with Ad Age’s editorial partner Trendrr – the social-media monitoring firm – a new infographic has been produced to spotlight the year of mobile social television programming.

And the results are fascinating. As it turns out, NBC is the most social network. And “SpongeBob SquarePants” is the most social show (and, for the record, I’m pretty sure this is the first time MMW has reported anything about “SpongeBob SquarePants”).
