Social media has forever changed the ways in which we communicate and conduct business. But it’s also impacted how we travel.
This week, Tripl – a new outfit that makes it possible for users to interact by sharing travel advice, trip itineraries, and other digital content -published an eye-opening new infographic that clearly illustrates how social media has changed travel as we once knew it.
Among the more noteworthy findings is that a whopping 72% of social media users refresh their social networks on a daily basis while traveling to connect with friends and family.
In comparison, a scant 7% use mobile internet while traveling.
